Hebei Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment has newly published its 2020 Hebei Low Carbon Promotion List，HBIS Sintering Dust Smoke Selective Cleaning Residual Heating Application in Steel Industry, and Residual heat utilization of coke oven raw gas in stand pipe entered the list. This list could assist HBIS to promote its low carbon technologies and technology apply and further enhance the influence of the industry. .
Sintering Dust & Smoke Selective Cleaning & Residual Heating technology targets particular sections of sinter wind bellows and leads the dust and smoke back to sintering beds, after extensive dust suppression, main exhaust fan, smoke & gas distributor and airtight cycling procedures. This technology contributes a high success rate and sinter feed strength and lower the carbon emission rate by 6.3% - 10.8%. Residual heat utilization of coke oven raw gas in stand pipe technology adopts a new heat exchanger to lower the raw gas temperature to 450℃, from the previous 750℃ and allow the saturated and overheated steam to enter coking production. HBIS Hansteel 2.2m ton per year coke oven has applied this technology reducing a 56000 ton CO2 emission each year.
